A Legacy of Compassion and Wisdom

Phiniex Educational and Social Welfare Trust was established in 2012 with a vision to uplift the Buddhist community through education, social welfare initiatives, and spiritual growth programs. What began as a small community effort has grown into a comprehensive trust serving thousands across Maharashtra.

Our name "Phiniex" symbolizes rebirth and transformation—values deeply intertwined with Buddhist philosophy. Like the mythical bird rising from ashes, we believe in the power of education and community support to transform lives and create lasting positive change.

Our Journey

Key Milestones

2012

Trust established in Palasdhari, Khopoli to uplift Adivasi children through education and welfare.

2013

Started educational and welfare programs for Adivasi children, introduced free breakfast to encourage attendance.

2014

Launched special Art & Craft classes in Palasdhari.

2015

Opened education center at Vaishali Buddha Vihar, Chembur; special education in 8 Panvel Nagar Parishad schools.

2016

Continued teaching programs at Sudhala Education Society and Dnyanjyot English Medium School.

2017

Conducted Physics training program for 11th/12th students at Gokhale School.

2018

Special guidance classes at Kurla Night High School; community dialogue at Chintan Baithak, Vashi.

2019

Classes at Amchi Shaala, Chembur and Ulhasnagar Budh Vihar. Extended to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar High School.

2020

Crash course at Kirti Night High School, Sewree; sessions at Mahila Mandal School, Kurla.

2021

Programs conducted at Budh Vihars in Khopoli, Shahad, and Kanjurmarg (Mahatma Phule Nagar).

2023

Outreach extended to Milind Budh Vihar, Rahul Nagar, Aurangabad, Matheran, Kasara, Panvel, and Khopoli.
